Deep points and the Ocean

　

　Many things called a trench exist in this large sea.A trench refers to the depression contour of long and slender deep sea. Almost all trenches are 6000 meters or more in depth. Those length amounts to thousands of km from hundreds of km.  It is so huge that imagination is also impossible from a usual life. It seems that there are many places where seismic activity is often active near a trench.
　One and you have a question here. Do you know the deepest trench in the world?
　A lower photograph is the trench. In which trench does it really understand?

　Yes, it is Mariana Trench.  It turns out that the place which looks black especially with a photograph has become depressed deeply. This falcate trench is the No.1 trench of the world.
　Mariana Trench is about 2550 km in full length trench.  It is located in southeast from Ogawawara Islands in Japan.  The length is straddling north latitude 12 degrees from north latitude 25 degrees.  Not only the depth but this full length could be called world top class.

　The depth of water of Mariana Trench is about 10,920 meters. Even if it turns the mountain of the highest peak in the world, and Everest, it is too difficult at all. Is the size of the earth realized?  Moreover, the deepest part of the Mariana Trench southwest end is also called alias Challenger Deep. The name of this Challenger Deep is coming from the origin that the British "challenger No. 8" discovered these deeps in 1951.
　Since there were one and a picture which the depth of Mariana Trench understands well here,it introduces. The black point that it is visible to the upper part lonely is a size of a ship.

　It is so deep that it is fearful.  Light does not arrive at all, either, so that it may understand by this picture.  Furthermore, it is with great force deeper than other deep ocean locations. Therefore, in the Mariana Trench deepest part, it is said that a greatly different ecosystem from the usual sea is realized. Although it is still more in the middle of investigation, what kind of living thing really lives in such severe environment?

　Information that the interesting living thing was found in this Mariana Trench recently is contained.
The name of the living thing is "Xenophyophore".

In spite of a monadic, what and its length are about 10 cm. It is the greatest category also in the already found monadic. That this Xenophyophore was found in the Mariana Trench depths shows that the enough room for research is in deep sea. 

　Since it says that such a monadic was found, a certain thing can be guessed. It is saying that it exists in neither land nor a shoal, and that a strange living thing exists. All the living things are considered to have accomplished evolution from the monadic in long history. If it becomes, this monadic can greatly serve as a subject of research.


The depth of Mariana Trench is wrapped in the mystery of the earth.
